Welcome to my life as I struggle to raise 2 teenagers in the love of Jesus while being single, employed full-time, going back to college, surviving a bad break-up, AND living in sobriety and recovery!

Answered prayer...
Sometimes when God answers prayers, it really hurts.
Hi lady, read your blog.... Thank-you for inviting me to share your story. You are strong and will continue to get stronger!!! You have support in so many different places that you may not even know.. If you need me, I'm here for you, if not, I'm still here for you. I'm thinking and praying for you. Lorraine
I AM:
a Jesus girl;
a single mother of 3 (starting with a teen pregnancy at 17);
an addict/alcoholic in recovery;
struggling with depression:
a survivor of domestic abuse;
a full-time employee (of the most wonderful company in the world);
a college student (working toward my AA in Human Services with a minor in Alcohol/Drug Studies);
a photographer;
a blogger.
So so true! A lot of times real change is the result of lots of pain. If you pray for real change...
ReplyDelete"Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers..." Pain is the touchstone of all growth..I'm sorry you're in pain today Diane.
ReplyDeleteAmen! But I've also learned that we grow a lot from them.
